Hey, I’m Craig — the founder of Waiting for Waves, a size-inclusive surfwear brand inspired by a lifelong love of surf culture… and a personal journey of feeling underrepresented within it.

From a young age, I was drawn to the surf scene — the laid-back vibe, bold designs, and that sense of freedom and connection to nature. But as a plus size guy, finding clothing that truly fit — both in size and style — was a real challenge. I often admired the look from the sidelines, wishing there was space for someone like me in that world.

With a background in graphic design and a passion for creating, I decided to turn that gap into something positive. Waiting for Waves was born out of the idea that surfwear should be for every body — inclusive, comfortable, and full of character.

Our range is designed to be inclusive for men and women, with sizes up to 6XL and silhouettes that feel as good as they look. Every piece reflects the spirit of surf culture — relaxed, confident, and unapologetically bold — because everyone deserves to feel part of the lifestyle they love.
